Romford lies in the Southwestern section of the London Borough of Havering (formerly part of Essex, a large county northeast of London) with water on 2 sides. Though it is not as busy as central London, nonetheless, it is a lively, multicultural area with many local opportunities for part-time jobs and comprising of well-established communities from around the world.
You will find everything you need is nearby. Romford town centre, just 2 minutes from the College by walk, has a bustling high street brimming with shops, restaurants and other amenities. There is also a colourful market. The area is ethnically diverse with a great cultural mix. There are various specialist shops selling African, Asian, East European and Caribbean food.
Wherever you are from in the world, you are sure to feel very welcome here.Even if you live away from the college in Central London or in another borough, as it has excellent public transport links through both the London Tube system and bus network, access to both the college and the college should be no problem. And, indeed, there should be no problems in getting to class on time! The college site is actually only a two minute walk from the Romford Tube station and a bus stop is located very close outside the college.
